Insight
You don't have to see the finish line.
You just have to keep moving.
Put one foot in front of the other. Over and over again.
That's easy when you're feeling good. It's a whole lot harder when things start to go sideways.
Last weekend, during my 50K run, I was STRUGGLING. There were plenty of moments when the finish line felt very far away. Like… so far I thought I might need someone to come pick me up in a car and bring me there.
So I stopped thinking about the finish line.
I just committed to putting one foot in front of the other.
And you know what… eventually (hours later), I got there.
This weekend I went on a 1.5-mile hike with almost 2,000 feet of elevation gain. There were sections where I was scrambling up rocks, panting like a psycho, and my quads were on fire.
So I implemented the same strategy. One foot in front of the other.
Eventually, I made it to the peak.
This applies to almost anything.
Building a business can feel the same way (at least for me). You're somewhere in the middle, things are hard, and you can't quite see where it's all going yet.
Take the next step anyway. Maybe it's making the phone call. Sending the email. Figuring out the budget. Having the conversation.
Whatever the next step is, TAKE IT.
Because all those little steps add up. Even when you're in the middle of it and they feel too small to possibly be making a difference. They are.
You don't need to see the finish line.
One foot in front of the other. Repeat.
Question
Where do you need to stop worrying about the finish line and just take the next step?

Coach’s Notes:
Don't worry about how many rounds you're going to get. Focus on the movement in front of you, find a pace you can sustain, and just keep moving.
Heavy is relative- but choose a weight on the squats that challenges you!
