Insight
I was talking to a friend recently and she told me she can’t stop thinking about a race - a really hard, really long trail race.
She’s watched all the recaps. Follows them on social media. Keeps thinking about what it would be like to be there.
You know what I told her?
Sign up for it.
There’s probably a reason you’re drawn to it.
Don’t fight that.
Embrace the challenge.
Commit to the hard thing.
Or keep watching other people do it and wish you were there.
I think sometimes in life we’re drawn toward certain experiences, challenges, and opportunities - and we either listen to that voice… or we convince ourselves we’re “not the type of person” who could do that.
But why not you?
Why can’t you be the person who signs up for the race? Starts the business? Makes the change? Takes the leap?
If something keeps pulling at you, pay attention to that.
Don’t let fear talk you out of something that excites you.
Trust your gut.
Commit.
Go all in on your life.
Question
What challenge keeps pulling at you? What are you waiting for?
