Relentless IQ → #5 [2026] →Commit first. Figure out the rest later.

Relentless IQ is your weekly dose of mental + physical performance.

Insight

When you commit, more opportunities arise.

Last week was about not just having an idea - but taking action on it.

This week is about what happens after you take action.

It’s kind of crazy, but when you commit to something 100%, momentum has a way of taking over and things start to happen.

Opportunities open up. More ideas start flowing. Connections get made. You notice things you didn’t notice before.

It’s so crazy and it’s a real phenomenon. I’ve seen it in my own life - and you can probably think of times in your own life where once you committed to something, that’s when the magic started to happen.

People think they need to have everything figured out before they start. But most of the time, it works the opposite way.

I always say - commit first. Figure out the rest later.

You start doing the work - and then you start figuring it out. You take one step - and the next step becomes obvious. You stay consistent - and all of a sudden you’re in motion.

Commitment creates momentum. Momentum creates opportunities.

So if you’re waiting until you feel “ready”… stop waiting. Start moving. Commit to the effort, and trust that the work you put in now will lead you where you want to go.

Commit first. Figure out the rest later.

Question

What’s one step you can take today that will create momentum?

Quote

“Because when we sit down day after day and keep grinding, something mysterious starts to happen. A process is set into motion by which, inevitably and infallibly, heaven comes to our aid. Unseen forces enlist in our cause; serendipity reinforces our purpose.”
-Steven Pressfield, “The War of Art”

Workout

5 Rounds
15 Burpees
30 Air Squats
Then:
10 Minutes of Lunges

Coaches Notes:

Snowstorm or not - you can still get after it.

This is simple on purpose. No equipment needed, no perfect setup, no reason to overthink it.

Move with intention on the burpees and squats, then settle into the lunges and just keep going. Just get it done.

Commit to the first rep. Momentum will keep you moving.
