Relentless IQ is your weekly dose of mental + physical performance.
Insight
This weekend was the first Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge.
If you were there, thank you. If you weren't there, you missed something special.
Watching people do something hard, whether that was a 5K, 10K, or as many 5K loops as possible in SIX HOURS, was inspiring.
The theme of the day was JUST KEEP MOVING.
When you're out on the trail for six hours, it's inevitable that things are going to get hard.
You can't focus on how much you have left.
How far away the finish line is.
You have to focus on the next step.
And the same is true in life.
Do the next thing you can do.
Take the next step.
JUST KEEP MOVING.
Question
What would happen if you stopped worrying about how far you have to go and focused on taking the next step?
Quote
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” - Lao Tzu
Workout
10 Front Squats (or Goblet Squats)
15 Push Ups
15 Air Squats
10 Push Press
Coach’s Notes:
Go light on the barbell- something you can do unbroken.
Don’t overthink the ten rounds. Take it one rep, one movement, one round at a time. Just keep moving.
