Relentless IQ → #2 [2026] → Keep Showing Up

Relentless IQ is your weekly dose of mental + physical performance.

Insight

Progress doesn’t come from one massive breakthrough.
Or one huge day of training.
Or one all-nighter working on your business.

It comes from showing up consistently, over and over again.

The start of a new year can feel BIG.
Big goals. Big energy. Big expectations. And that’s exciting.

But the people who actually reach their goals aren’t relying on motivation alone.
They’re committed to the process.

They focus on process goals - the daily actions they can control - instead of obsessing over outcomes.
They show up whether they feel motivated or not.
They do the work even when it isn’t exciting.
Especially when it isn’t exciting.

They understand that it’s the little, non-flashy things done consistently that get them where they want to be.

They keep showing up.

It’s easy to come out too hot at the start of a race or a workout (trust me on this one).
The same thing happens in January for a lot of people.

Reaching your goals isn’t about max intensity every day.
It’s about consistency over time.
Showing up with what you’ve got.
Doing the next right thing.

Build consistency one day and decision at a time.
Trust the process.

So this year-
Commit to the process.
Commit to showing up.
Commit to consistency.
And remember to enjoy the journey.

Question

What’s one small thing you can commit to doing this week to get you closer to your goals - something you can show up for even on the days you don’t feel like it?

Quote

Consistency is what counts. You have to do things over and over again.” -Hank Aaron

Workout

200 Box Step Overs (30/20lbs to 24/20”)
*Every 2:30 do 6 burpees to plate or over DB

*Use whatever type of weight you would like- one or two DBs, a medball, DBall, KBs, vest/ruck, OR do the step overs unloaded and/or use a smaller box.

Coaches Notes:

  • This is a grind, not a sprint. Settle into a pace you can hold for the long haul.

  • Don’t come out too hot and redline early. The goal is to keep moving with steady effort.

  • Treat the burpees as a reset, not a punishment. Stay smooth and controlled.

  • Choose a load and box height that allow you to move well and stay consistent from start to finish.

  • If you get to a point where you are not getting step overs in, you can do fewer burpees or do the burpees every 3:30. Make it work for you.

  • Quality reps matter. Move with intention, especially as fatigue sets in.

Workout Intent:

This workout rewards patience, consistency, and the ability to keep showing up when things get uncomfortable. Kinda like… life.
